COVID-19 affecting postage
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our postage times may be delayed. We are still using Aramex Couriers and Australia Post. Australia Post orders involved a trip to the post office so we will endeavour to post multiple orders at once and do less trips a week. We apologise for any inconvenience or delays this may cause.
Both Australia Post and Aramex have advised of possible delivery delays. This is due to the COVID 19 lockdowns and the large volume of parcels that they are currently working through.
Current directives from our delivery partners:
"To minimise the risk of contracting or spreading coronavirus, we’ve enabled contactless delivery. This means signatures are no longer required for all parcels, whether you’re collecting from a Post Office or at home.
For home delivery of parcels normally requiring a signature, if you’re at home, the delivery driver will record your name and confirm delivery on their handheld device, then leave the parcel at your door. If you’re not at home, a card will be left, with instructions on where to pick up your parcel." Please see their website Austpost.com.au for more details.
Important update to delivery procedures
To minimise the risk of exposure to Coronavirus, we have put in place temporary measures to ensure the safety of our customers and Courier Franchisees. Effective immediately, signatures will not be captured and deliveries will be processed as an Authority to Leave transaction, with the parcel left in a safe place and a photo taken as proof of delivery. If there isn’t a safe place, they will leave a calling card with further instructions.
